Duane Shield
is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and a Chartered Tax
Adviser with over a decade of experience in the profession.
Duane originally hails from the North East of England and moved to Bristol age 20 to
pursue his accountancy career, qualifying at 24 with one of the largest independent
firms in the South West.
He decided on a career break in 2001, setting up a successful internet company and
acting as its managing director for 2 years, now having only a non executive role.
As an opportunity arose in 2003, he decided along with Paul to start up in practice
and bring a new approach to business services in Bristol.
Outside of work, Duane main loves are football, cinema and good food.
Paul Grant
specialises in business and management consultancy and financial advice and is always
on hand to give friendly advice on any issue. He is a qualified Independent
Financial Advisor and an affiliate member of the Institute of Business Advisors.
Paul says “These are exciting times for Perpetual Business and Tax Advisors and

I am very much looking forward to developing close working relationships with our

although with great relationships we really can add real value to your business and

Paul is also a keen sportsman and thoroughly enjoys a wide range of sports especially
squash and his new passion, golf. He is also an active member of the Bristol and
Bath Tennis Club.
